Its an interview on my career, workflow and the camera gear which I use. It’s mainly centred around my thought of shooting with the m43 Lumix G9 but does expand on favourite lenses, workflow and other equipment too. Hope you enjoy the piece.
Lovely to have been invited for a nice chat with the fabulous Ross Grieve and Matt Jacobs on their popular Talking Shot Podcast.
We chatted about the COVID 19 lockdown, how I started out as a photographer, my career, inspirations, philosophies on journalism and even a little about the equipment I use. Hope you enjoy the conversation.
During the Photography Show earlier this year, I was part of a discussion panel for Professional Photography magazine along with my talented friend and colleague Paul Sanders and the talented Elisabeth Blanchet and Martin Middlebrook. It was a fascinating hour long discussion on staging, manipulation, ethics, the press and photojournalism. I’m happy to share that the text from the discussion is featured in the May issue of Professional Photography magazine, over six pages, which is now on sale.
You can get a copy of the May issue, or a subscription to the magazine HERE. Hope you enjoy the read and feel free to carry the discussion on here in the comments section if you wish.

It’s always nice to be featured in magazines and this week’s Amateur Photographer magazine (June 19, 2014) has a double page spread about my “Love Your Job” photograph. Fittingly, as the issue is a tribute to Leica’s 100th anniversary, the image was made on my Leica M9.
