For anyone in Berkshire or the surrounds, I’ll be giving a presentation of my work and having a chat with a Q&A at Thatcham Photographic Club on June 13th. If you’re interested in popping by, it would be good to have you. Contact the club directly to make a booking.

We’ll be raffling one of my prints, with the proceeds going to the club. Additionally, it’s my pleasure to announce that I’ll also be making several prints, from two of my images from Armenia available for purchase, at very special prices.

Images from Armenia. Signed and embossed prints, made available at a special rate for the Thatcham Photographic Club talk in June. 24cm x 16cm (roughly) archival and embossed print, signed, £25.00. Photo: Edmond Terakopian (These prints were made on a Canon iPF6300 during the testing of the machine which is why I can offer them at this reduced rate).

Here is a recording of my online seminar (webinar from November 30th, 2011) showing how I use Nik Software’s plugins and Aperture for my image processing.

I’m pleased to announce that I’ll be holding a Nik Software Webinar on my workflow on Wednesday, November the 30th at 7pm GMT. Click HERE to register for my free seminar.

As always, I will be showcasing new and different work, explaining my techniques on image processing and the thought processes behind the technicality of image processing. As an example, I shall show how I processed the portrait of business fashion consultant Gabriella Piccinni from Modaview.

My workflow is based around Aperture and Nik Software’s Viveza 2, Silver Efex Pro 2 and Sharpner 3 in the whole, although I do occasionally use Photoshop. Those who use Photoshop or Lightroom will still have a lot to gain and the processes and using the plugins is virtually identical. There will be a Q&A session at the end.

Hope you can join me on my last webinar for this year.

I’m delighted to say that I’ll be running a series of workshops at the Leica Akademie in Mayfair, London. The workshop is called “Leica M9 Interactive” and is aimed at professional DSLR users and experienced DSLR enthusiasts who would like to experience what it’s like to handle and shoot with a Leica M9. Part of the complimentary three hour course will involve  taking photographs on a Leica M9 and lens which will be loaned to you. You will be free to take home the pictures to peruse at your leisure and see what makes Leica’s lenses legendary.

Want To Know About Audio?

The Mic Tour 2011

Probably the biggest challenge for any photographer trying to shoot video is audio; as visual people, we already have visual literacy and the video stuff is easier to grasp, but audio is a completely new world.

I’m delighted to say that I’ll be speaking at the Mic Tour 2011, along with some real audio experts; John Willett and Alex Joseph.
