A PHOTO CALL
This timelapse shows what a large photo call looks like; there are there waves of some of the country’s top photographers being brought into the room to see the $80 million, guarded painting.
Apart from the opening and closing photographs which were taken on a Leica M9, the entire timelapse was shot on an HD Hero. All images were processed in Aperture and the video was made in FCP X.
It would be nice to see it slowed right down …
With there being around 650 pictures in that film, slowing it down would make it really, really slow, long and probably a tad tedious! My aim is to show the hustle and bustle of one of these large photo calls.
I understand that, and it was great to watch. I was thinking from my perspective – that there is probably something I could learn from seeing how the photographers use the space.
A good point; I think this will still serve that purpose too. What I would also suggest is searching online and in the papers to see the actual photographs taken, which may be useful. Wow! Love it! Well done.
Many thanks 🙂
Great music. Which artist?
No idea! I think it’s by someone called Burrows I think (it’s not clear). The track is from https://www.stockmusic.net and it’s appropriately called The Scream.
Is that you, Edo, at 0:24?!
It is indeed!
