Feature on the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) in Stanmore ahead of the launch of their fundraising appeal. Dad Adrian Rafferty from Maidstone helps and encourages his eight year old son Jake Rafferty as he goes through transference exercises from his bed to the wheelchair, under the instructions of physiotherapist Emma Cook. Jake had a large tumour removed from his spinal cord and has been in hospital for 4 weeks. This is his first week out of bed and in his wheelchair.
